Advanced Input Systems' Mid-Travel (1-2mm) keyboards are designed for harsh environments. Keytops are available in plastic, rubber or metal, depending on the application, look and feel desired. Mid-Travel keyboards are typically sealed, and water-resistant. We can create any conceivable keyboard—design, size, composition, color, lighting, technology—in this series.

  • Mid-Travel Elastomer plastic key products incorporate a conductive silicone or elastomer keypad over a switch circuit actuated by a plastic key.

  • Mid-Travel Elastomer metal key products incorporate a conductive silicone or elastomer keypad over a switch circuit actuated by a metal key.

Elastomer Dome

  • Mid-Travel Dome technology keyboards incorporate a tactile metal dome on a printed circuit board actuated by a plastic key.
