Product Description
Advanced Input Systems' Full-Travel (2-3mm) keyboards are optimized for maximum life and efficiency. Low in profile and ergonomically designed for quick response, high-speed data entry and complete performance, the Full-Travel keyboard series is constructed with heavy-duty switch technologies for longer life.

Available Technologies
Truncated
- Full-Travel Truncated models feature
single-piece, elastomer switch mat technology with breakover
tactile feel. Because the individual switch bearings are molded
into a single part, 80% fewer parts are required for assembly.
This contributes to significantly lower cost than competing
technologies.
Single Station
- The Full-Travel Single Station switch is designed to provide lower volume customers with a low-cost tooling entry into the full-travel arena. Products feature a conductive elastomer, single switch in a full-travel mechanism.
Notebook
- Using Advanced Input Systems' specially
developed, Full-Travel Notebook platform as a basis for developing
specific notebook applications the customer has at hand
an ergonomically friendly, standard QWERTY keyboard with a variety
of customizable options. Key color, special sealing, backlighting,
various communication protocols and language variables are just
a sample of the unique characteristics that are available to
the customer for their next project containing an Advanced Input
Systems notebook keyboard. In addition, the in house engineering
team at Advanced Input Systems can interact with the overall
development of the larger project to add value to the integration
of the keyboard into the next assembly platform or take over
the design of the notebook platform, if needed.
